1. About this integration
Hermes Drive Access is a private, personal desktop integration used by its owner. It allows a locally running Hermes Agent to work with the owner’s Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets when the owner gives a specific instruction. It is not a public multi-user service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
2. Google user data accessed
The integration may access:
- Google Drive file and folder names, metadata, structure, and file content;
- Google Docs document content and structure; and
- Google Sheets spreadsheet content, ranges, formulas, and structure.
The integration does not request access to Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts.
3. How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to complete tasks explicitly requested by the account owner, such as finding, reading, creating, editing, or organizing files and content. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.
4. Storage and processing
OAuth client credentials and authorization tokens are stored locally on the owner’s Mac. Google user data is processed locally as needed to complete requested tasks. This informational website does not receive or store Google Drive, Docs, or Sheets content.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Its hosting provider may process routine connection data, such as an IP address and request logs, to deliver and secure the site.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Data is not transferred to third parties except when technically necessary to communicate with Google’s APIs at the owner’s request, or when required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
The integration does not maintain a separate cloud database of Google user data. Files created or changed through the integration remain in the owner’s Google account under Google’s normal retention controls. Local OAuth tokens remain until they are removed or revoked by the owner.
7. Security and user control
Access is protected through Google OAuth 2.0 and is limited to the scopes granted by the account owner. The owner may revoke access at any time from the Google Account security settings and may delete the local authorization files from the Mac.
8. Google API Services User Data Policy
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
9. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the integration’s data practices change. Questions may be sent to the user support address displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen.
